We just finished putting together a guide to the Schoodic Peninsula, the quiet side of Acadia National Park, right as the summer season kicks off. It covers 17 spots we keep going back to: trails, restaurants, places to watch the sunset, a couple of genuinely great bars, and one spot where you can get a great lobster roll within walking distance of Birch Harbor and our land.

The Bar Harbor ferry started running this month. The Island Explorer bus is already looping the peninsula. If you are planning a trip to Acadia this summer (or even just thinking about it), this is the time to figure out the Schoodic side before everyone else catches on.

The guide is free. We just ask for your email so we can send you updates as we find more good stuff out here.
